It possesses an elegance characteristic of classic fragrances.
And yet the fragrance is quite modern and very charming.
And you can guess how much I would have loved it to make it mine Top First. It has a lot of notes that makes it very complicated kinda of a fragrance but it stays on for a long time, and the effect is simply sublime. Reminds me of a better blended version of Ellen by Ellen Tracy that I used to have. It shines in both cold and warm weather and due to this fact it is worthy of signature scent status.
Everyone loves this perfume on me, I wear this everyday and they recognize me with this smell. Based on all of the great reviews for this one, I blind bought a rollerball of this at Burlington for . I see similar notes listed for both of these perfumes. It hasn't changed: bug spray, nail polish remover and a bit of musk. Also, I noticed they are selling this in gift sets at TJ Maxx right now so anybody who loves it can sweep it up for next to nothing.
Oddly I have heard that about this fragrance and Narisco Rodriguez brands as well. I bought it, sprayed it on and couldn't get past the " bug spray" accord I kept smelling.
This one smells MATURE to me like when you grew up and you make a name for yourself, something like that.
I got compliments from this and that's saying something.
Lovely has a voice, it projects, it's not a background air freshener smell. I was looking for the aroma of lavender but not flat like an essential oil. There is a powdery smell, along with the citrus, that is really just too heavy for me such that the lavender does not come through on its own at all. I find Lovely to be infinitely smooth, cool and clean. Put it away quickly, I want to take home what's left of it wright now. Lovely is the first perfume by the mega-popular star of Sex and the City, whose name has been in the fashion and beauty magazines for 20 years - Sarah Jessica Parker.
You will send a clear message of your character by wearing Lovely: you like hugs (and more :)), you love your body, and you appreciate personal style. Based on the top notes listed for this, and people's reviews, I thought this would be just the thing. I think that if the lavender were more intense and the powdery citrus were softer, it would be what I'm after. I could not put this on my pillow like an essential oil. Sufficiently complex to stay interesting from the beginning to the end and simple enough to not get on my nerves. Few days ago I was wearing this usualy lovely vintage floral aldehyde but after few hours I was just so tired of it that it made me almost sick. In collaboration with the house of Coty, Sarah launched her first perfume in 2005 and despite a negative opinion about celebrity perfumes, it was almost instantly at the top of the best quality perfume creations of the 21st century. We’ve seen it in romantic movies, read about it in tales of well known epic love stories and maybe even noticed it in the way rose petals sway when the wind blows.
