A talented musician, Jonny has brought Jewish soul music to delighted audiences. Rabbi Rafi Weinschneider is the head of Aish Campus Cincinnati.
Rafi was born in Chicago, lived on an Air Force base in Wichita Falls, Texas (where his father was a chaplain), moved to Jerusalem, and then returned to Chicago – all before his 10th birthday.
It was there that a roommate from Tennessee, who had never seen a Jew before, wanted to know if Jews have horns.
This prompted Daniel to become more Jewishly involved; he became a Jewish Studies major and served as president of the Jewish Student Activities Board of Hillel.
In 2002, Rafi was brought to join the Cincinnati Community Kollel, and today he works with both Aish and the Kollel, organizing trips all over the world and assisting Jewish students at University of Cincinnati and Miami of Ohio to better connect to their heritage.Daniel has attended Yeshiva Ohr Somayach and Yeshiva Bircas Ha Torah in Jerusalem, and received rabbinic ordination from Rabbi Zalman Nechemia Goldberg.He holds a Masters degree in Judaic Studies and Education and a Teachers Certificate from the Ministry of Education of the State of Israel.Lisa hails from Melbourne, Australia, and graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and University of Melbourne with degrees in Media Studies and Jewish History.In 2004, Lisa decided to head to Israel for three months to get some clarity on life’s big questions.
